Parking Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a skilled Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team at Buckinghamshire Council. As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and ensuring compliance with council policies.
Key Responsibilities- Work on allocated shifts, including bank holidays, to enforce parking regulations and issue fines as necessary.
- Upload and download data from handheld computers and utilize council systems to determine infringements.
- Suspend and reinstate parking bays or places, including the installation or removal of signs and notices as requested.
- Carry out checks on parking equipment and report any repairs or maintenance required, liaising with contractors as instructed.
The successful candidate will have a willingness to be flexible to meet shift/role requirements, including working 37 hours a week between 07:00 and 22:00 on a seven-day operation. You will also have knowledge of car park equipment, including individual handheld devices and printers.
