Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Controller to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet industry, company, and consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products, including metal detection, weights, coding, and labeling.
  • Perform recurring inspections, such as Golden 6, hygiene assessments, and glass and perspex checks.
  • Distribute and report quality and food safety KPIs.
  • Provide support and communicate with the shift manager and technical department on any issues affecting product quality or safety.
  • Conduct investigations and provide concise and accurate information to support them.
  • Adhere to food safety, H&S, and environmental standards and requirements.
  • Conduct and drive the lineside taste panel.
  • Drive the safety-first, quality-always culture.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of QC testing equipment.
  • Desire to work in a quality role.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in accordance with business needs.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence and ability to make decisions.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Excel, OAL, and ICCS.
