We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Kerry in Ossett, West Yorkshire. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality inspections on finished products, including metal detection, weight conformity, and coding and labelling compliance.
- Perform recurring inspections such as the Kerry unique 'Golden 6' inspection, hygiene inspections, and assessments related to Glass & Perspex.
- Distribute and report on relevant quality and food safety KPIs.
- Communicate with shift managers and the technical department regarding any issues that may impact product quality or safety.
- Provide concise and accurate information to support quality-related investigations.
- Adhere to food safety, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Facilitate and coordinate the lineside taste panel.
- Promote a 'safety-first' and 'quality-always' culture.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with QC testing equipment.
- Desire to work in a quality role.
- Ability to prioritise workload according to business needs.
- Great level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Confidence and ability to make decisions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Excel, OAL, ICCS, and SAP.
