We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team at James George Recruitment Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our clients' credit accounts and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively monitor and manage the credit control process to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to discuss outstanding invoices and payment terms.
- Resolve client billing issues or disputes promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including payment histories and credit limits.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to provide regular reports on outstanding debts and cash flow.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to promote positive communication and proactive credit control practices.
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role, preferably within an accounting or financial services firm.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
