**Roles and Responsibilities : How the Expected Outcomes are Achieved**
- Embedded in Operations to be the point of contact for all things billing
- Work with PMs and other personnel responsible for billing to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing
- Raise, check and process sales invoices, check client/customer credit status
- Assist and support with client/customer repayment plan negotiations
- Create, implement and monitor an effective cash collection process and compile accurate reports for FD as required
- Create, implement and monitor client/customer payments and ensure they are within payment business terms
- Ensure client/customer account reconciliations are tracked, accurate and reportable
- Maintain accurate up to date records on all revenue, debt and cash positions
- Feed into cashflow process
- Produce meaningful reports for Management Information such as debtor days etc.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth day to day running of the business.
- Lead on construction industry VAT and become internal VAT Champion
- Filing, scanning and archiving into SharePoint and E-vision and other finance systems,
- Data entry into a range of systems and spreadsheets
- Any other reasonable administrative and ad-hoc duties as requested by the Line Manager.
- Assist other members of the finance team as and when required
- Ensure annual leave handovers are provided and all parties have received accurate information.

**Requirement for the Role**

Requirements and Essential
- Full time office based
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- GCSE Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent to Level 2 in functional skills
- Recognises commercially sensitive or confidential information and deals with it appropriately
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Flexible to undertake a range of different tasks within the working day.
- Able to multi-task
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel to an advanced level

Desirable
- Willing to take responsibility and accountability to follow tasks through to completion
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Construction Industry experience
- Experience in working to deadlines and prioritizing own work load.
- Previous experience of working with the CIS scheme and relevant VAT schemes
