We are looking for a highly skilled Defence Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Devonport, working on a 6 month contract.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a major defence project, supporting the design development and delivery of building work packages associated with the 5 Basin berthing requirements for Astute Class submarines at 5 Basin East Wall Centre and South.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal Engineer (Buildings) in the management of one or more technical design packages, including agreeing project related objectives and managing designer performance.
  • Ensure that the design documentation is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget, and meets the scope of operations required by the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure they are familiar with the hazards and risks associated with the works and that suitable controls are implemented.
