Job Title: Curriculum Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Curriculum Support Assistant. This role will involve supporting students through covering lessons or learning activities during the short-term absence of their teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support students through covering lessons or learning activities
  • Assist students in the completion of work set and facilitate peer assessment and correction of the work under the direction of a Curriculum Leader
  • Support with ad hoc administrative work in a designated Curriculum area

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with or relating to young people and a commitment to their education, development, welfare, and aspirations
  • Ability to successfully deliver pre-planned lessons as directed by the classroom teacher/Curriculum Leader
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and administration skills
