Child Psychotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Psychotherapist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), you will provide specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy assessment and treatment to children, young people, and their families.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide efficient and effective specialist child and adolescent psychoanalytical psychotherapy assessment and treatment for children, young people, and their families.
- Support and/or provide specialist supervision and consultation for multi-disciplinary teams within CAMHS clinical pathways and to other related staff and agencies in health, education, social services, voluntary sector, and youth support services.
- Undertake clinical audit, research, and evaluation and contribute to the development of child psychotherapy within the organisation as required.
- Work as an autonomous clinician within ACP guidelines and the overall framework of CAMHS and trust policies and procedures.
- Collect and analyse data regarding referrals and outcomes in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment offered.

Person Specification:- Relevant Professional Qualification
- Current Registration with Association of Child Psychotherapy
- Experience of working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting/service.
- Knowledge of National and local policy and the implications for service delivery Clinical Governance and Clinical Supervision.
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Time management skills Service user/carers involvement
- Evidence of post-registration/qualification experience working with Children/young people and families.
- Experience of working with Multi-disciplinary teams and multi-agency working
- Experience of working in a mental health setting.
