Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bolfracks in Basingstoke. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a room as a key worker, taking charge of a group of children and guiding their daily adventures.
  • Design and implement fun and educational activities that engage children's senses and encourage exploration.
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress, celebrating milestones and achievements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents and carers, ensuring seamless communication and partnership.
  • Support colleagues in a collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and expertise.
  • Ensure a happy and stable environment, taking into account children's cultural backgrounds and medical needs.
  • Confidently handle concerns and adhere to policies and procedures, prioritizing safety and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in assessments and support plans, with a deep understanding of child development.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to lift and handle children and equipment safely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and caring nature.
  • Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements, ensuring best practices are followed.
