Job Title: Technical Safety Engineer

Risktec is seeking experienced consultants to join our team in Edinburgh, specializing in risk management and process safety for industries such as oil, gas, chemical, distillery, and renewables.

Job Summary

We are looking for highly skilled professionals to work on quantitative technical safety projects nationally and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical safety studies, consequence modeling, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical safety support to senior colleagues and clients, including consequence modeling, technical safety studies, and proposal preparation.
  • Lead and deliver quantitative technical safety projects, covering a wide range of facilities and plant, processes, and operations.
  • Travel to UK and worldwide locations to meet project requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant technical safety studies experience, including use of modeling software.
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent.
  • Highly computer literate, with skills in quantitative analysis and experience with analytical software tools.
