Geotechnical Engineering Assistant

BAM Ritchies of BAM UK&I are seeking a skilled Assistant Geotechnical Engineer to join their Geotechnical Engineering department. As an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and technically excellent delivery of geotechnical works on various projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality assurance and testing of geotechnical works, with training provided
  • Upholding and implementing BAM and industry safety standards on site and in activity plans and risk assessments
  • Planning for geotechnical projects, involving procurement and opportunities to innovate independently or as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Geotechnical Civil Engineering or a similar field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience through industrial placement or similar
  • CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, PTS
