The Opportunity

We're seeking a recent graduate in electronics or a software-related field to join our Controls Software team. As a Graduate Controls Software Engineer, you'll support the delivery of software-based solutions and gain valuable experience from conception to project completion.

The Role
  • Design and develop control systems strategies for HVAC applications.
  • Test software using functional test simulators to ensure correct operation.
  • Produce project documentation, including control philosophies, O&M manuals, functional test scripts, and BMS points lists.
  • Collaborate with the Research & Development department to incorporate new technologies and features into projects.
  • Provide technical support for site engineers and customers as required.
  • Mainly office-based position with occasional site work.
Requirements
  • Hold a technical degree with a willingness to learn and succeed.
  • Capable of understanding and designing control strategies.
  • Awareness of BMS and common communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP).
  • Good electrical knowledge and capable of understanding electrical drawings.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving using own initiative.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Team player.
