The Opportunity

We're seeking a recent graduate in electronics or a software/computer science-related field to join our Controls Software team. As a Graduate Controls Software Engineer, you'll support the delivery of software-based solutions and gain valuable experience from conception to project completion.

The Role
  • Design and code control systems strategies for HVAC applications.
  • Test software using functional test simulators to ensure correct operation.
  • Produce project documentation, including control philosophies, O&M manuals, functional test scripts, and BMS points lists.
  • Attend internal and external client/site meetings to determine initial scope of works and correct functionality during commissioning.
  • Work closely with the Research & Development department to incorporate new technologies and features into projects and report improvements back.
  • Provide technical support for site engineers and customers as required.
  • Be a focal point for customers, helping to resolve any issues and develop our commitment to them.
  • Mainly office-based position as an integral part of the project delivery team.
  • Site work will be required on a job-by-job basis.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Hold a technical degree with the willingness to learn and succeed.
  • Capable of understanding and designing control strategies.
  • Awareness of BMS and common communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP).
  • Good electrical knowledge and capable of understanding electrical drawings.
  • Have basic knowledge of IT systems and communication networks.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving using own initiative is a must.
  • Have good written & communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Full training will be provided for the right applicant.
