Job Description:

As a Medical Device Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing scheduled maintenance and proactive scheduling effectively, blending technical and interpersonal skills to ensure efficient and memorable customer interactions.

You will develop solutions for critical issues and creatively resolve complex problems, working in collaboration with the Service Manager to identify opportunities for upgrades, new purchases, and additional customer training.

You will accurately identify error codes, recurring problems, and unique troubleshooting solutions, communicating issues effectively through detailed reports.

You will instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of systems, serving as a liaison between customers and in-house teams on administrative and technical matters.

You will document all service activities in accordance with regulatory standards, promoting service contract revenue and new product awareness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a field service engineer or technical support engineer.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an HND in Electronic Engineering.
  • Skilled in fault-finding and delivering first-time fix solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing abilities, along with a positive approach and the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Excellent at building and sustaining customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage your territory effectively and travel occasionally for training and conferences.
  • Must possess a UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
