Technical Support Specialist for Medical Devices

About the Job:
  • Manage scheduled maintenance and optimize proactive scheduling, combining technical and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless customer interactions.
  • Develop innovative solutions for critical issues and resolve intricate problems creatively.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify opportunities for upgrades, new procurements, and additional customer education.
  • Accurately identify error codes, recurring problems, and unique troubleshooting methods.
  • Communicate issues effectively through detailed reports and images.
  • Instruct customers on the operation and maintenance of systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and in-house teams on administrative and technical matters.
  • Document all service activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote service contract revenue and new product awareness.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • A proven track record as a field service engineer or technical support engineer.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an HND in Electronic Engineering.
  • Skilled in fault-finding and delivering first-time fix solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing abilities, along with a positive approach and the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent at building and sustaining customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage your territory effectively and travel occasionally for training and conferences.
  • Must possess a UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Estimated Salary: 45000 - 60000 per annum
