About the Role

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Risk Manager to join our UK Risk Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Business Continuity team and driving the development of our Business Continuity and Operational Resilience strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK Business Continuity team, providing strategic direction and guidance on Business Continuity and Operational Resilience initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Business Continuity and Operational Resilience plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the continuity of business operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Provide training and support to business teams on Business Continuity and Operational Resilience best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Business Continuity and Operational Resilience, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business partners, technology teams, and external vendors.
