About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Store Assistant to join our team at Next. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of stock presentation, and contributing to a positive and productive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly and politely to customer queries and providing solutions to their needs
  • Maintain a high standard of stock presentation, ensuring that products are accurately priced, stocked, and visually appealing
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, meet operational deadlines, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card payments, and resolving any issues or discrepancies
  • Participate in visual merchandising activities, including displays, window displays, and floor sets, to create an engaging and inviting store experience

About You:

To succeed as a Store Assistant at Next, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. You should be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.

You will also need to be physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, and navigate the store's layout safely and efficiently. A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
