Join Alecto Recruitment in our search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at a busy 24/7 processing facility in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have experience with PC-based PPM systems and be able to efficiently carry out preventative and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examination of and fault finding on plant
  • Equipment and servicing activities on waste plastic sorting site
  • Ensuring health and safety environmental compliance and contributing to continuous improvement in operations, plant, and equipment availability
  • Provide high operational availability and an efficient breakdown repair service. Diagnosis running faults and ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within a minimum time scale
  • Carry out replacement, repair, and installation work to the required standards

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualifications NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience with lifting, slinging, and mechanical lifting aids
