We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Conveyancing Lawyer Specialist to join our team in Hastings. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, offering a comprehensive training program and the chance to become CLC Qualified.



About the Role

As a Conveyancing Lawyer Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload on a day-to-day basis, handling all aspects of the conveyancing transaction from instruction to completion, registration, and closure of the file. Key responsibilities include:





  • Managing a caseload, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining accurate file notes.

  • Taking instructions, communicating with clients and third parties, and drafting legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.

  • Carrying out Pre-completion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely, ensuring the file is ready for exchange and completion, and verifying all necessary paperwork and funds are in place.

  • Performing Post Completion work, including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures, and checking account ledgers.



Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with:





  • Experience within a conveyancing environment, preferably with knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills, along with organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the role.
