Conveyancing Paralegal Opportunity

Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Hastings. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, registration, and closure of the file.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely completion and registration of files.
  • Take instructions, maintain accurate file notes, communicate with clients and third parties, and complete tasks.
  • Draft legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.
  • Conduct Precompletion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely, ensuring files are ready for exchange and completion.
  • Perform Post Completion work, including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures, and checking account ledgers.

Requirements:
  • Experience within a conveyancing environment is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate good time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred but not essential.
