Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Supremesearchspecialists. As a Senior Financial Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing off company accounts prepared by junior team members. You will also review and sign off on company tax returns, while identifying planning opportunities for our tax team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Accounting: Review and sign off company accounts prepared by junior team members.
  • Company Tax Returns: Review and sign off on company tax returns, identifying planning opportunities for our tax team.
  • Self-Assessment Tax Returns: Review and sign off on self-assessment tax returns and manage the compliance process throughout the year for your portfolio of clients.
  • Bookkeeping: Provide support and advice to junior team members, especially during the onboarding of new clients.
  • Management Accounts: Prepare and submit management accounts for a small subset of your portfolio.
  • VAT Returns: Review and sign off on VAT returns, support clients with registration, and identify VAT opportunities and risks within your portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: ACA or ACCA qualified is essential.
  • Technology: Experience with Xero, TaxCalc, and Excel would be a plus, but not essential provided you are able and willing to learn.
