**Interim Finance Manager Opportunity**

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to cover a period of sabbatical leave for one of our long-standing clients. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for all accounting protocols and maintain robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance to all relevant reporting standards
  2. Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the function
  3. Act as a key point of contact to external stakeholders and major suppliers
  4. Production and delivery of detailed management accounts
  5. Management of the payroll function (not administration)
  6. Regular liaison with investors and internal stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or suitably qualified by vocational experience, with a solid background in supervising staff, preparation of financial and management reports, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls, and a natural leadership style.
