Job Description:This role involves supporting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving high-quality food to customers in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, managing inventory, and operating kitchen equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and serving of food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Manage Inventory: Ensure all food items are stored correctly and manage stock control effectively.
- Operate Kitchen Equipment: Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, to maintain optimal performance.
- Support Colleagues: Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve common goals and support colleagues as needed.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is highly valued.
- Basic Food Hygiene Knowledge: Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred) is essential for this role.
- Flexibility: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary for effective collaboration within the team.
- Shift Work: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.
