Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner - Vocational Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Learning Support Practitioner to provide essential classroom and workshop support to our students. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical assistance to students in vocational workshops and classrooms
  • Work alongside teaching staff to support the delivery of lessons
  • Build effective relationships with students and teaching staff
  • Use initiative and be proactive in supporting students
  • Have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changing circumstances

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people and an understanding of working with people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Good standard of education, with English and/or Maths at Level 2 (GCSE C or 4 grade)
  • Commitment to achieving Level 2 English or Maths if not already obtained
  • Ability to work at multiple campuses and travel between sites
