Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Learning Support Practitioner to provide essential classroom and workshop support to our students. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver an exceptional student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical assistance to students in vocational workshops and classrooms
- Work alongside teaching staff to support the delivery of lessons
- Build effective relationships with students and teaching staff
- Use initiative and be proactive in supporting students
- Have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changing circumstances
Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people and an understanding of working with people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Good standard of education, with English and/or Maths at Level 2 (GCSE C or 4 grade)
- Commitment to achieving Level 2 English or Maths if not already obtained
- Ability to work at multiple campuses and travel between sites
