Job Title: Youth Justice Service Practitioner

Tempting Recruitment is working in partnership with a Local Authority to recruit an experienced Youth Justice Service Practitioner to join their team based in the East of England.

Job Summary

The Children and Young People's Directorate is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and learning of children and young people. To achieve this, we need to make every intervention count and bring about sustainable change for children, young people, and their families where need is identified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside children, young people, parents, and families to address early signs of social, emotional, health, or behavioral issues and bring about sustainable improvement.
  • Manage cases and hold appropriate levels of risk, overseeing the input of support workers where required.
  • Work within service guidelines, statutory guidance, and legal frameworks.
  • Respond to needs identified with the family by delivering evidence-based interventions as required.
Requirements
  • Suitable qualification at graduate level or equivalent experience in a relevant area of work.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
