Lead Infrastructure Development Role Available

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is seeking a talented Lead Engineer to join their Capital Projects, Climate Change and Transport department.

This pivotal role offers the chance to lead a dynamic team of Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, and Assistant Engineers in delivering impactful infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing budgets for capital projects ranging from £1M to £5M annually and overseeing project compliance with key legislation.

As a Lead Engineer, you will work closely with the Senior Service Manager and other stakeholders to deliver projects that align with sustainability and climate change priorities. A recognised engineering qualification and demonstrable technical expertise in highways and traffic projects are essential requirements. Strong project management skills and experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and contractors are also necessary.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (PO6 Grade).
