Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring the health and well-being of the birds, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting systems to create an optimal environment for bird growth and health.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of bird health, food supplies, and supplier interactions.
  • Use expertise to make sound decisions autonomously, especially when covering for the Farm Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Farm Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving farm efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in poultry or livestock production.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
