A highly skilled and experienced Financial Director is required to oversee and manage the financial operations and accounting activities within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in Cash flow reporting and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Liaise with Bankers and external credit providers to maintain strong relationships and secure funding.
- Liaise with credit insurers to ensure compliance with regulations and minimize risk.
- Support the annual budget process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Group management reporting pack to provide insights into financial performance.
- Ensure Balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a timely basis to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the Fixed Assets investment process, including maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Monitor and control Overhead expenditure via monthly cost centre reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in annual audits, both UK and Group French audit, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Assist in the Annual stock take process completed by the Production teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collate annual statutory accounts, partnering with SLT member where required, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Drive improvement in SAP governance and process compliance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide support to the Sales team to ensure minimum Group margin expectations are met, including tender creation.
- Manage IPR Chassis import declarations to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Monitor all tax and regulatory compliance issues, including VAT, ONS returns, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Control of Employee expenses online claim portal to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage Finance assistants (3), covering Accounts Payable and Receivable, to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Provide cover for Management accountant and CFO as required.
- Support our project to upgrade from SAP bridge to SAP 4/HANA, group wide roll out programme, to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Liaise with Insurers on day to day matters and manage the annual renewal process to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Liaise with external advisors to seek clarification and guidance where required.
- Any other ad-hoc requests from the CFO to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Strong Excel experience and knowledge to analyze and interpret financial data.
- SAP experience to manage and maintain financial systems and processes.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Co-operative approach to both internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
- Collaborative management style to lead and manage a team of Finance assistants.
- O365 suite of products experience to manage and maintain financial systems and processes.
- Power BI to analyze and interpret financial data.
- To ensure that all duties and responsibilities are discharged in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, code of conduct and relevant regulations and legislation.
