Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer to join our team as a Clinical MSK X-ray Reporting Expert. The successful candidate will be funded to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in MSK X-ray Reporting and will become a reporting radiographer once qualified.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will provide clinical expertise in Radiology by reporting radiographic images undertaken in the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. They will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, effective, and efficient x-ray reporting service to the highest professional standards.

Person Specification

  • BSc or Equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Health Care Professions Council Registered
  • Evidence of on-going further personal and professional development related to Radiographer Reporting
  • Member of the Society of Radiographers or equivalent for indemnity insurance

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience of working in the NHS or similar environment
  • Awareness of current professional issues
  • Sound knowledge of ionising radiation legislation

Desirable Criteria

  • Rotational experience in imaging modalities
  • Participation in audit
