Job Description

**Job Title:** KS2 Tutor

**Job Type:** Part-time, Contract

**Location:** Within the community or pupils' home

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tutor to provide personalized support to students in the early years of their educational journey. As a KS2 Tutor, you will work with vulnerable, disengaged, and at-risk students, using a flexible, creative, and nurturing approach to help them achieve their full potential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging support to students in a 1-to-1 setting
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Work collaboratively with students, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education
  • Provide patient, empathetic, and supportive guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and achieve academic success

**Requirements:**

  • QTS or equivalent tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative learning plans
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or disengaged pupils
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
