Position Title: General KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday
Compensation: £12.90 per hour

Role Summary:
In the capacity of a General KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the academic and personal development of students in Key Stage 2. Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, you will aid in the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum, providing tailored support to individual learners and contributing to a positive and enriching educational atmosphere.
Key Duties:
- Assist educators in implementing lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, encompassing subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and more.
- Offer personalized support to students in one-on-one and small group settings, aiding them in their academic pursuits and comprehension of essential concepts.
- Prepare educational materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and collaborating with teachers to customize support for individual needs.
- Promote positive behavior and a growth mindset among students, cultivating an inclusive and motivating environment.
- Supervise and assist students during recreational and meal times, as well as other school activities.
- Work in partnership with educators and staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of all students.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational context.
- Understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the requirements of older primary students.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children's growth.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education, teaching assistance, or child development are advantageous.
