Overview

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing payroll, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for employees in Australia and New Zealand, including reviewing timesheets and sending queries to area managers.
  • Work with external payroll partners to process fortnightly pay and reconcile payroll filings to the IRD account.
  • Stay up-to-date with award, policy, and employment law changes, and ensure our Standard Operating Procedure documents are current.
  • Manage and respond to emails in the shared payroll inbox, and ensure new and terminated employees are processed correctly.
  • Calculate and process adjustments, deductions, and bonuses in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Prepare payroll reports and summaries for managerial review.
Requirements
  • Experience in a multi-site or timesheet-based organization, with end-to-end payroll experience in Australia.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a bright, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft Office.
