Automation Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Service Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reactive and proactive service support for automation and instrumentation systems, as well as calibration services and complete installation and retrofits of drives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and experience with Siemens PLC software. Additional experience with Rockwell is also beneficial. The role requires the ability to read electrical schematics, fault find and replace drives, and possess formal electrical qualifications.
We are particularly looking for an engineer who can take initial responsibility for a large contract working on the upgrade of a large number of control panels across the site. The successful candidate will be flexible to travel to customer sites on short notice for breakdowns and call outs.
As a key member of our team, the Automation Service Engineer will be responsible for providing high-quality service support to our customers, ensuring that their automation and instrumentation systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
