Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ad Sales Planning Manager to join our team at Trainline Advertising. This role plays a crucial part in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various clients and platforms.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in ad operations, a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, and expertise in Google Ad Manager. They will work closely with internal teams to achieve these objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships and grow revenue from existing advertising accounts across programmatic and direct.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital advertising campaigns, including campaign setup, trafficking, and monitoring.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance and implement optimization strategies to maximize performance and revenue.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with the relevant teams for support as needed.
  • Define, implement, and manage operational processes that support the growth of Trainline's advertising business across both programmatic advertising and direct campaigns.

Requirements

  • You will be a smart, data-driven, commercially-minded individual ready to take on this exciting opportunity.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the advertising sector, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech, focusing on operations.
  • Mastery of working in and troubleshooting across ad servers and programmatic buying/selling platforms, with Google Ad Manager experience essential.
  • Deep knowledge of ad tech and experience managing relationships with advertising clients, DSPs, and other vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience in extracting actionable insights and developing business strategies from data.
  • Demonstrated experience with building and nurturing client relationship management.

What You Will Earn

We estimate a salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
