Lifting Equipment Specialist

Kemp Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their mobile fitter team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the repair and inspection of lifting equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair of Lifting Equipment: Conducting thorough repairs on various types of lifting equipment, including Chain Slings, Electrical Chain Hoists, Pull Lifts, Genies, Tirfors, and Hydraulic Jacking Equipment.
- Inspection and Testing: Performing regular inspections and testing of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and other relevant regulations.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold a LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) Lifting Equipment General Diploma or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in repairing and inspecting lifting equipment.
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential for travel to client sites and operational needs.
