About the Role:

As a Powered Access Engineer at Kemp Recruitment, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of powered access equipment. This includes conducting necessary repairs to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and operates efficiently. You will also be required to carry out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work and perform LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspections. Additionally, you will visit customer sites to attend to breakdowns and provide timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of powered access equipment.
  • Conduct necessary repairs to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and operates efficiently.
  • Carry out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work.
  • Perform LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspections.
  • Visit customer sites to attend to breakdowns and provide timely solutions.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Powered Access, Plant, Material Handling, or HGV.
  • A passion for providing excellent service.
  • An approachable demeanor and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • IPAF & CAP licenses (essential).
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent.
  • A full UK Driver's license.
  • Previous experience as a Powered Access Engineer is beneficial.
