Stock Inventory Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled Stock Controller to join our Warehouse team at our Chesterfield site. As a Stock Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our stock within the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have excellent investigative skills and experience in stock control, along with knowledge of WMS systems. Teamwork, communication, and tenacity are essential attributes for this position, while the ability to work proactively on your own initiative is vital to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
- Manage the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
- Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity, ensuring all checks are completed first.
- Hold and Release process.
- Provide stock traceability information as required for reasons such as recalls etc.
- Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
- Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
- Managing multi-client and multi-customer queries.
- Assist Stock Management with investigations.
- Additional responsibilities include handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries, and samples.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in stock control.
- Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
- In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
- PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
