About the Role

The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the health club, ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and guests. You will work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive member retention and satisfaction, and contribute to the overall performance of the club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of department managers and their teams to deliver exceptional member service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive member retention and satisfaction
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the health club, including reception, spa, and maintenance
  • Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably in a 4-star plus establishment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with members and colleagues
  • Commercial awareness and ability to drive business growth
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
