Deputy Care Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team in Exeter, Devon. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Care Manager in the day-to-day running of our supported living services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high-quality, responsive service to individuals with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities.
- Assist the Registered Care Manager in the management of staff, including rota planning, supervising, mentoring, and leading the team.
- Support individuals and groups with daily tasks, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred plans, ensuring that individuals' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems are maintained to guarantee compliance.
- Substantial experience of providing support, including personal care.
- A basic level of British Sign Language (BSL) is desirable for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional travel to other services.
