Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to join our team at Royall Appointments. As an Event Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and project delivery across multiple projects for key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage diverse teams, including multi-disciplinary and client-specific teams.
- Lead and motivate teams towards project success.
- Produce and oversee Critical Time Paths (CTPs) to ensure project timelines are met.
- Track and manage project tasks effectively.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, both internal and external.
- Lead internal and external teams to collaborate cohesively.
- Articulate ideas clearly and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage project budgets exceeding £50,000.
- Proficient in budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Additional proficiency in a second language (German/French/Mandarin) is preferred.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing client accounts and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Significant experience in organizing live events, including exhibitions, conferences, and activations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in managing relationships with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Experience in managing supply chains effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
- Understanding of Health & Safety processes for live events, including reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Health & Safety qualifications are desirable.
- Ability to travel internationally as required for project needs.
- Proficient in managing project logistics to ensure seamless operations.
- Familiarity with the design process and experience collaborating with creative teams to meet client design briefs.
- Experience in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), pitching for new business, and tendering opportunities.
- Experienced in managing subcontractors, freelancers, and external resources effectively.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management are advantageous.
Experience: Significant experience in project management, preferably in the creative/events agency industry.
Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
