Year 5 Teacher Role
This is a full-time, permanent position at a two-form entry school in the East of England. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students
- Assess students' progress and provide timely and constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Year 5
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and commitment to inspiring and motivating students
