Job Title: Mathematics Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and enriching curriculum to our students, who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

About Us:

The Cambian Group is an independent DfE-registered, co-educational day school which specialises in accommodating students who have SEMH difficulties. We cater for up to 20 students aged between 12-18 years of age and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning. Individually tailored educational pathways are created to ensure each student's needs are met.

What We Offer:

We offer a supportive team environment, dedicated TA support, and the opportunity to work alongside well-trained, qualified professionals across our multidisciplinary team. A good knowledge of mathematics and experience of teaching up to GCSE level is essential. An understanding of Mental Health and/or experience of working with children/young people with additional needs is an advantage.
