Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Job Summary
EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including political and governmental stakeholders, industry leaders, and think tanks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy to support the company's business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including political and governmental stakeholders, industry leaders, and think tanks.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on stakeholder engagement and public affairs matters.
- Support the development of key external messaging, including corporate presentations, slide decks, speeches, and thought leadership pieces.
- Work with retained agencies on projects, including the dissemination of political insight to the wider organization.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events undertaken by the Public Affairs and Stakeholder team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and public affairs, with a strong understanding of the automotive/mobility sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong commitment to excellence and high standards of professionalism.
