Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Manager

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team at EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including political stakeholders, industry groups, and other external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to engage with key stakeholders, including political stakeholders, industry groups, and other external partners.
- Provide situational awareness of the automotive and mobility sectors to the wider Corporate Affairs team, summarizing the latest news and developments.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events undertaken by the Public Affairs and Stakeholder team.
- Work with retained agencies on projects, including the dissemination of political insight to the wider organization.
- Support the development of key external messaging, including corporate presentations, slide decks, speeches, and thought leadership from the CEO, Executive, and senior leadership.
- Provide content for other teams doing external presentations.
Requirements
- Understanding of, and preferably experience in, the Automotive/Mobility Sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and work with all levels of external stakeholders and within the organization.
- Ability to work flexibly, travel to external meetings, and manage your diary effectively.
- Embracing the test and learn approach, alongside an ability to find the most efficient way of doing things.
