About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Care Assistant to join our team at Helping Hands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence and stay in the place they know and love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to our clients
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, bathing, and toileting
  • Helping with mobility around the home and supporting with daily living tasks
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support as needed
  • Assisting with household chores, such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying
  • Running errands, including food shopping and picking up prescriptions

What We Offer

  • Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls
  • Early Pay App request up to 50% of your pay in advance of pay day
