Job Overview

We're seeking an entrepreneurially-minded individual with tenacity and communication skills to play a pivotal role in establishing our presence in the UK as the leading asset financing specialist for startups.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the operational setup of our new London office and help build and lead the growing team.
  2. Establish and build our network and reputation in the UK venture capital and technology ecosystems.
  3. Develop deal flow through various channels, including key events, VC and startup networks, industry and university stakeholders, and regional hubs.
  4. Lead deal analysis and commercial/financial due diligence, including interviews, financial modeling, and investment memo preparation.
  5. Portfolio management, including ongoing risk monitoring and follow-on transactions.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business or science/technology, preferably with a graduate degree.
  • Significant relevant work experience in venture debt or venture capital, or a strong background in deal-driven roles in investment banking, leveraged finance, or private equity.
  • Intellectual inquisitiveness and ability to explore creative solutions to customers' needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team working, and communication skills.
  • A strong existing network in the UK venture scene is a plus.
