About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Research Officer to join our Sustainable Finance Research Division at the Blockchain & Climate Institute. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and carrying out research activities, analyzing data, and publishing high-quality research papers in the field of sustainable finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on sustainable finance topics, including climate risk insurance, micro-finance, and voluntary carbon markets.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify research opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, including conferences and events.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in research and analysis, with a strong understanding of sustainable finance concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
