Job Title: Learning and Development Partner

Connells Group UK is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Partner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing targeted learning solutions that enhance the skills of our partner function teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Learning Strategies: Collaborate with key business stakeholders and the People Business Partner to design and deliver an overall learning and development strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with central function leaders and People Business Partners to understand business priorities, challenges, and skill gaps.
  • Empower Colleagues: Ensure all colleagues across central functions have access to learning opportunities and can continue to learn and develop both professionally and personally.
  • Evaluate and Report: Consistently evaluate and report on all interventions, providing periodic reviews on expected ROIs.
  • Culture of Learning: Support the drive of a culture of learning, continuous personal learning, and development, and high performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a focus on supporting commercial or customer-facing business functions.
  • Strong Background: A strong background in stakeholder management, partnering with leaders to identify learning needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Design and Delivery: Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs, including blended and digital learning initiatives.
  • Embedding Learning: Experience and clear understanding of how to embed learning using various techniques.
  • Learning Interventions: Experience in creating learning interventions using social, digital, and face-to-face learning techniques.
  • Pre/Post Evaluation: Experience in implementing pre/post evaluation.
  • Team Player: A strong team player who can work cross-functionally with commercial/operational teams and senior leaders.
  • Change Agent: Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment with the ability to pivot and respond to emerging business needs.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Methodical and Detail-Oriented: Methodical and detail-oriented when required.
  • Company Ethos: Adopts the ethos of a company and champions it.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel and be away from home when necessary.
