Supply Chain Planner Job Description

Our client, a leading technology sales organisation, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Shannon. As a key member of the supply chain operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse demand and manage inventory levels to optimise stock and minimise costs.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials and components.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and advanced Excel functions.
