Teaching Assistant for Social and Emotional Development

As a dedicated member of our team at Term Time Teachers, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.
This role demands a compassionate and empathetic individual who can establish a strong connection with a child in our Induction Department, providing tailored academic support and encouragement.
We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke curriculum and a range of therapeutic services, including speech and language, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, play therapy, and holistic massage therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CHILD TO ENSURE A SMOOTH TRANSITION INTO THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
- DELIVER INDIVIDUALISED ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE
- Maintain A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
Essential Qualifications:
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- EXCELLENT BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am-3:30pm
- Term-time only
- 5 hours per week
Salary:
- £85-£100 per day
